How to take your prescription?

• Place the drainage grid over the hole inside the bonsai pot.
• Add a small layer of bonsai soil to the bottom of the pot. 
• Gently remove your young bonsai tree from its plastic nursery pot. 
• Loosen the soil around the roots lightly (do not break the roots). 
• Place the tree slightly off-centre in your pot for a natural bonsai look. 
• Add more bonsai soil around the tree, filling the pot to the top. Press the soil gently to secure the tree.

Aftercare 

• Keep your newly planted bonsai in the shade for 7 days, there after move to indirect sunlight.
• Water when the top layer of soil starts to dry. 
• Avoid direct midday sun for the first 2–3 weeks. 
• Keep your new baby damp and 4 to 6 hours of sunlight daily.
