This Firethorn (Pyracantha crenulata) is approximately 3 to 4 + years old.

Pyracantha crenulata, also known as Himalayan or Nepalese firethorn, is an evergreen shrub native to the Himalayas that is now considered an invasive species in some regions, such as South Africa and Australia. It is an evergreen shrub with spiny branches, small white flowers, and red, orange, or yellow berries that resemble tiny apples.

• Growth: A spiny, evergreen shrub or small tree.
• Leaves: Simple, hairless, and glossy dark green on the upper surface, with a saw-toothed margin.
• Flowers: Small, creamy-white, and borne in clusters.
• Berries: Small, red, orange, or yellow "pomes" that grow in clusters after flowering
